CLAWA offers advocacy, networking and continuing professional development for criminal lawyers in Western Australia.
Members have the opportunity to comment on and shape submissions to the government on proposed law reform that relates directly or indirectly to criminal law.
As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, CLAWA is endeavouring to keep members and the broader legal fraternity informed of changes in court procedure that affect the operations of the Supreme, District, Childrens & Magistrates Courts in Western Australia.
Lawyers who would like to receive those updates can sign up to receive our circulars at no charge.
How can we

Many members are on the Legal Aid panel, and if you are eligible for a Legal Aid grant you may be able to have your choice of lawyers from our members.
The Criminal Lawyers' Association is located in Perth, Western Australia. We work hard to support our community, and we need as many strong voices amongst us as possible. If you're a criminal lawyer and interested in joining CLAWA, please take a look at our Member Benefits.
